My name is Shaun, I'm your typical family man, husband, dad to 4 kids and every day racer!

I started racing at the end of 2020, after a few years competing in the Worlds Fastest Wheelie competition I decided I'd turn my hand to circuit racing having done a few trackdays over the years, sold my Honda Fireblade and bought a couple of clapped out CB500 road bikes, full strip down, recommission and converted them to racebikes myself and headed off to what was ThundersportGB for the last two rounds of that season to see if I'd like it... drug addiction would have been cheaper!

Since then I did 2 seasons there before its closure and was a bit lost at sea with no where credible to race a CB500, that was until Bemsee announced their Thunderbike 500 Class! Excited for this new opportunity to go racing the class I love, I started a podcast/youtube channel called "The Everyday Racer" where we documented the inaugural season at Bemsee and some of my Championship Winning year at Scarborough, Oliver's Mount in 2025 with huge success and reception for the class.

My main goal is helping others to reach their goals and ensure they are all on our grid safely with bikes that work and are compliant, as such I have accepted the job of Rider Rep at Bemsee for 2026 in Thunderbike 500, in partnership with Max Maud. We plan to keep growing the grid and class to the best of our ability, with focus on fairness, sustainability and making sure the class remains fun and cost effective for all involved.
