From your first race to your next championship challenge, Bemsee offers racing for a wide range of riders and motorcycles. Our paddock brings together juniors, newcomers, experienced club racers and lifelong enthusiasts, with advice and support to help you get the most from your racing.

For 2027, we welcome Classic Powerbike and the BMCRC DYMAG Naked Series, alongside the new ACU Nationwide Junior Cup and Nationwide Senior Cup.

NEW: BMCRC Classic Powerbike

Big bikes. Big power. Rider controlled.

Classic Powerbike brings the character of large-capacity racing before modern electronic rider aids to the Bemsee grid. It is for production-based motorcycles of 750cc and above, with no maximum engine capacity, no horsepower limit and no fixed model-year cut-off.

Eligibility is determined by the motorcycle’s original design and specification, rather than age alone. The rider must have direct mechanical throttle control, with no traction control, wheelie control, launch control or other prohibited electronic intervention.

Engine tuning, electronic fuel injection, programmable ignition and quickshifters are permitted within the regulations. Ride-by-wire throttles and automatic throttle-blipping systems are prohibited.

NEW: BMCRC DYMAG Naked Series

A dedicated championship and grid for naked and supernaked motorcycles.

Wide handlebars, unfaired motorcycles and the chance to race some of the most exciting road bikes in a championship of their own.

The series has two classes:

• Naked Cup: up to 750cc four-cylinder, 900cc three-cylinder and 1000cc twin-cylinder machines, plus unlimited-capacity singles.
• Super Naked Trophy: unlimited-capacity machines meeting the class regulations.

Eligible models include machines from the Yamaha MT, KTM Duke, Triumph Street Triple, Aprilia Tuono, Ducati Streetfighter and BMW naked ranges, depending on class and specification.

Production-based rules keep the focus on accessible preparation and competitive racing. Check the regulations for your model and permitted modifications before building your bike.

NEW: ACU Nationwide Junior Cup

More choice of motorcycle. The same focus on developing young racers.

Replacing the ACU Team Green Junior Cup, the Nationwide Junior Cup opens the door to a wider range of approved lightweight motorcycles for riders aged 13–18 on 1 January of the race season, subject to ACU licence and machine requirements.

Approved machines include the Kawasaki Ninja 300, Kawasaki Ninja 400, Yamaha R3, KTM RC390 and Aprilia RS125 in approved Superteens specification.

A 38hp maximum and Dunlop control tyres put the emphasis on racecraft, confidence and consistency. Production-based engine rules help control costs, while permitted suspension changes allow riders to develop their setup.

NEW: Nationwide Senior Cup

Lightweight racing with a championship of your own.

Replacing the Senior 300/Senior Ninja series, the Nationwide Senior Cup uses the same approved machinery, 38hp ceiling and Dunlop control tyres as the Junior Cup, with separate championship awards.

It offers an accessible option for newcomers, returning racers and experienced riders who enjoy lightweight competition. There is no championship upper age limit; the appropriate ACU licence is required.

ACU Thunderbike 500

Close competition built around the Honda CB500.

Thunderbike 500 combines an overall ACU championship with rider-weight categories and a Rookie championship, giving competitors several targets to aim for across the season.

The weight categories are:

• Lightweight: under 90kg.
• Middleweight: 90kg to under 105kg.
• Heavyweight: 105kg and above.

Dunlop control tyres and class preparation rules provide a straightforward basis for racing. Whether you are starting out or chasing an overall title, there is plenty to get stuck into.

BMCRC Open 500

Two-stroke or four-stroke — bring your 500cc-or-under racer.

Open 500 provides separate two-stroke and four-stroke categories, with an engine-capacity ceiling of 500cc, subject to the class regulations.

The four-stroke category welcomes eligible F400s, CB500s and lightweight sportbikes. The two-stroke category gives machines such as Yamaha TZs, Honda RSs and Kawasaki KRs a place to compete.

MRO 600 & Clubman 600

Established supersport racing meets the next generation.

MRO 600 brings traditional supersport machinery and eligible Next Generation models together under a 130hp maximum, measured on the official Bemsee dyno.

The separate Clubman 600 championship gives eligible riders their own title to contest. Clubman riders do not score in the main MRO championship, and progression rules apply.

BMCRC Rookie 600

Your first season starts here.

Rookie 600 gives eligible first-year novice riders a championship in which to learn racecraft, build confidence and experience the demands of a full racing season.

Bemsee’s instructors, rider representatives and paddock community can help you settle in and develop. Machine choice must comply with both the class regulations and the current ACU novice licence restrictions — check before you buy.

MRO Minitwins

Learn the bike. Carry the speed. Enjoy the racing.

Built around eligible middleweight twins, predominantly the Suzuki SV650, Minitwins rewards precision and momentum. Its established rules make it an appealing home for newcomers and experienced racers alike.

Rookie riders compete alongside the main class. Consult the regulations for machine preparation, power and tyre requirements.

BMCRC Supertwins

A home for the modern lightweight sportbike.

Supertwins caters for eligible road-based machinery and motorcycles meeting the specified National Sportbike regulations. It offers riders a championship suited to this growing category, with a different technical framework from Minitwins.

Eligibility depends on the model and specification, including any expressly approved exceptions. Contact the Technical Team if you need a ruling on your proposed machine.

MRO Powerbikes & Clubman 1000

Big-bike racing for ambitious club competitors.

MRO Powerbikes brings stock and tuned eligible 1000cc machinery together, with a separate Clubman 1000 competition for qualifying riders.

For riders ready for the acceleration, braking and physical demands of a litre bike, these championships offer a clear competitive target. Check rider eligibility and machine requirements before entering.

Thunderbike Sport

Different motorcycles. Carefully controlled performance.

Thunderbike Sport uses power-to-weight limits and a maximum power cap of 105bhp to bring a variety of eligible machines into competitive racing.

Perfect for all pre-injection 600s, the series gives these much-loved supersport machines a competitive home on the Bemsee grid.

The horsepower ceiling alone does not establish eligibility. Model, age, engine configuration and power-to-weight rules must also be met. Approved specials and individual exceptions are covered by the regulations and eligibility rulings.

Yamaha Past Masters

Two-stroke character and a paddock full of experience.

Yamaha Past Masters celebrates eligible Yamaha LC, TZR and YPVS machinery, bringing these much-loved motorcycles into competitive club racing.

Whether you already own a race bike or are considering joining the class, its established community is a good place to find practical advice and help getting started.

BMZRC 250 MZ

Simple motorcycles. Serious competition.

MZ racing offers a budget-conscious route into the sport, backed by an enthusiastic, welcoming paddock. The challenge is to make the most of the machine beneath you, improving your riding and preparation along the way.

Machines must comply with the BMZRC technical specifications. Contact the club for help finding a bike or understanding the class.

BMCRC F1 & F2 Sidecars

Two racers. One outfit. A shared challenge.

Sidecar racing demands trust and coordination between driver and passenger, with every lap a team effort.
