Richard has been involved with motorsport for over 45 years across 2 and 4 wheel disciplines as a competitor, administrator and official. He has been a member of the startline team since 2012 and is now our regular race starter.
As a Board member, Richard also brings a wealth of business experience having founded and owned what is still the largest financial practice of its kind in the UK. Having sold that business in 2011, he now mentors and lectures on business across London, the South East and East Anglia. He acts as a consultant to companies from the smallest start-ups to some of the largest plc's in Britain and is frequently involved in Dragon's Den style funding award sessions.
This business experience is also enhanced by Richard's background in national and international professional sports - player and coach so he understands the requirements to ensure great competition, enjoyment, fairness, safety, value for money and financial viability/sustainability.
Above all else, he is an enthusiast who loves our sport.
