I have been riding bikes for most of my life, starting back in 1970 messing around with a Honda C90.
In 2006 I started doing track days and enjoyed it, but wanted more…

In 2010 I went to a BMCRC meeting at Brands, watching my friend race a TZR250 in the Yamaha Past Masters (YPM’s).
I was hooked and in 2011 attended the Rookie School, and so began racing!

My first meeting was at Cadwell Park and in my first ever race I unfortunately had an off and watched my bike somersault and bounce down the track. I returned to the paddock the next morning and unbelievably the YPM boys had fixed and re-built my bike with donated parts, and she was ready to race again!

I knew then that this was the club I wanted to race with, not only because of the fantastic two-stroke bikes, but also because of the amazing camaraderie and competitive racing.

I was determind to improve my racing and following excellent instruction from BMCRC, found my lap times over the years have continued to tumble. I’m looking forward to next season and will gladly assist anyone starting out.
