I have been riding bikes since 1984 on the road and have raced competitively since 1991 to 2006. Throughout my racing career I have competed in the UK Endurance Championships as well as Clubman and National Championships.
Classes I have raced in for both Endurance and Short Circuit range from two-stroke YPVS350’s (When they were the bike to have and not past masters!), Supersport (CBR’s & ZXRR’s) and Powerbike (R1’s & ZX10). I have enjoyed many wins within Endurance and short circuit racing, back to back Open 1300 and Powerbike titles to mention some. Great success has also been rewarded with instructing and mentoring throughout many seasons. I hung up my competitive leathers in 2006 to fully concentrate on rider development and instruction within the club.
I have been a member of Bemsee for nearly ten years as a racer and over the last two years have represented rider’s interests to the club as an ordinary member and now as a director on the managing board. I am also the Rookie rep for all enquiries you may have.
I commute on a Yamaha Fazer 1000 every day to central London and work in the Banking industry as a Global IT Security Operations manager. It’s one way to finance the fun on track! I play bad golf (Save a mole a job), compete in triathlons, am always happy and positive attitude is everything. I’ll talk bikes to anyone so come and have a chat, I’m always in the paddock or on the end of the phone or email.
Racing has been a great part of my life. I am looking forward to continuing work for the riders’ interests, development and mentoring within Bemsee for many years to come and assist them achieve their racing dream as I did.
