Hello there! I’m Ben Scott and I’m one of the rider reps for the ACU Nationwide Junior and Senior Cups! I’m 37 and the same height I was when I was 10. I'm the proud dad of a wonderful 7 year old boy (who’s a dab hand at changing tyre warmers) and lucky husband to very understanding and supportive wife! When I’m not on a bike, I’m big into fitness and combat sports, with a good amount of K1 kickboxing bouts on my resume, and spend my downtime a bit more relaxed with Warhammer, Dungeons and Dragons and computer games. I’m a massive f1 fan as well as bikes, I never grew out of pop-punk anthems and I love a good natter! Pre-ride ritual; I always put my left glove on first!

Motorcycle racing has always been a huge passion of mine and very much part of my family since I was a youngling! I cut my teeth riding minimotos as a teen and have been riding a bike pretty much every day on the road since I was 18. My first trackday back in 2011 ignited something in me and I fell in love with motorcycles all over again, in a whole new way! I was hooked! Since then, there's not much I haven't thrown around a race track; from 110 pitbikes, to the mighty Yamaha R1m and the GSXR1000R (in my opinion, the best bike ever). Hand on heart, nothing has been as much fun to ride fast as these Bemsee Nationwide Cup  bikes!

After years of watching racing and thinking that it was something really cool that other people did, I finally decided to take the plunge and give it a go myself! I joined Bemsee in 2021 and found my motorbike home! From race school to licence applications and getting to have a go with the hire bikes, Bemsee made me feel like part of the family from the very beginning!

Once I was on the track, Bemsee’s instructors and the rider development programme helped me improve and get up to the sharp end of the grid! This is such a great class for improving your skills and working on your race craft, and with everyone on well balanced machinery, it makes for fantastic, competitive racing on a realistic budget!

My professional job is very much centred around helping people develop skills and I’m also a 4th Dan Kickboxing and Muay Thai instructor so I’m in a good place to help you improve your performance and hit your goals when you go racing! My own goal, as a rider rep, is to make sure everyone feels as welcome, supported and at home as I did when I joined the Bemsee paddock and gets what they want from going racing! I’m always happy to have a chat or answer any questions so please get in touch!

If you think you’d enjoy thrashing an agile little bike, flat out, around some of Britain’s most iconic race tracks in fantastic company (and who wouldn’t!?) you belong here too and I can’t wait to welcome you!
