I have been riding bikes since I was 16. Staring off with a PK50 Vespa - RD125 LC – ZXR 400 H2 and now currently own a GSXR 600 SRAD. I started racing after spannering for a friend for a year. I purchased a GSXR 600 SRAD and raced in the BMCRC rookie 600 championship, finishing 4th I was hooked on racing for good.
In 2009 I helped out with the BMCRC rookie training day as an instructor. With 5 rookie 600 riders to look after I found the day really fulfilling, helping the riders with all their questions and seeing them progress throughout the year I decided to take up the clubs invitation to become an ACU Club Instructor.
I currently Race in the MRO Supersport 600 class. I ride a GSXR 600 K1 which I have raced since 2003. I have also raced a Minitwin ( SV 650 ) for 1 round at Oulton Park, CBR 600 RR in a 6 hour endurance race at Brands Hatch, KTM 300 EXC in various Hare and Hounds. I also wobble around on a Beta TR34r trials bike.
I am a motor vehicle technician and an MOT tester by trade, working at a Main dealership in Epsom. I do most of my own bike prep and maintenance.
Being appointed as the 600 riders rep I look forward to helping out with any questions and issues any of you may have. I am always about the paddock so pop over for a chat.
