2012: Get Ready for this Season!

The Class Matrix 2012 is published here... icon 2012 BMCRC Class Matrix      Details on Class regulations are...HERE

Minor changes to Minitwins and NJC events now BSB and WSB guest classes are confirmed.
Premier 1000 will now go to all events.

Entry fees will stay at 2011 rates, rounded up to the nearest fiver and we will remove the two-tier pricing between Club and MRO. We are moving away from the MRO brand and calling our established 1000 and 600 grids “Premier”. The formats here will change to get away from endless qualifying and return to racing. We took the view that whilst these classes potentially feed BSB, that is less critical now, the good riders jump straight to that environment anyway with BSB setting entry fees at Club levels and allowing Clubman Licences in on many classes. See the Class List for format details (icon Classes List for 2012 )

So Premier becomes the place for our established riders, in a Club racing environment (which is what it is), with Club pricing making it the right place for our successful Rookie 600/1000 intake from 2011 to move to. The Premier 1000 will run at all 10 meetings, Premier 600's at 9 (only missing Cadwell in August)

9 rounds also for our Rookie 600/1000 intake to maximise their opportunity to race. Traditional Club Classes at 8, although 9 for Minitwins who will now go to guest at WSB at Donington in May.

The office is open for enquiries and questions, Tel 01708 720305

NJC - Prize Package Update

alt
The organisers of the European Junior Cup series decided recently to switch their series to compete on KTM machines this season instead of the Kawasaki Ninja 250 bikes used in 2011.

This has caused the Rapid Solicitors National Junior Cup series running in the UK with BSB and Bemsee to review the Championship prize for 2012.

The new Championship winner prize in 2012 will depend on the age of the winning rider as of March 2013….

If the rider is under 16, the winner will receive a new Kawasaki Ninja 250 equipped with performance parts in conjunction with B&C Express and free entry into the Rapid Solicitors National Junior Cup Series in 2013.

If the rider is over 16*, the winner will receive a new Kawasaki ZX-6R and free entry into the BSB National Superstock 600 Series in 2013 and tyre support from Metzeler.
*rider must have a National Licence

Starting Racing in 2012?

A date for your diary if you plan to start racing in 2012....

The Bemsee Rider School is at Brands Hatch on 25-26 February.

On Saturday afternoon you'll sit the ACU CTC Classroom Course, a requirement for your Licence, with more info on the Club, racedays, setup etc. On Sunday you'll be on track under the supervision of our ACU Club Coaches in small groups, who will guide you through skills and routines on track depending on your previous riding or track day experience. In the afternoon you will have the chance to experience a full race start under controlled conditions. This weekend we also use to assess the riding competancy of 15 yr olds and younger, with a view to allowing them to run on-track on the Sunday.
