I have ridden bikes since I was 9 years old but my racing began in 2000 when I raced karts winning the Inter Continental A Championship in my first competitive year.
In 2004 I purchased an Aprilia 250 and did a few track days and decided from there to try my hand at racing bikes.
I finished 7th in my first race in the Bemsee 400 Rookie series.
I soon realised the standard Aprilia wasn’t competitive enough so I purchased a ZXR400 and began to get on the podium
In 2005 I entered the Supersport 400 championship and after a hard battle all season with Alan Russell I won the Championship.
2006 and 2007 I moved to Forza Extreme on a Suzuki GSXR1000K3 winning the Championship in 2007.
In 2008 I moved class again, this time to the Superstock 1000 on a 2007 R1
2009 I entered MRO Powerbikes and had some great battles with Peter Baker but unfortunately finished 2nd to him in the Championship.
2010 I will be contesting MRO Powerbikes again on Michelin tyres and hopefully go one better?????
I have been a member of Bemsee for 6 years making many friends and was pleased to be asked to represent the Powerbike riders in 2009 and again in 2010.
During the week I work as an Operations Manager for a utilities company looking after
Reservoir and Water Tower renovation for Three Valleys Water and Tunnel Inspections for Thames Water.
2010 looks like it’s going to be another fantastic year for the club and I look forward to chatting to all new and existing riders. I am always about in the paddock so if you have any problems or just want to come and have a chat with me I will be more than happy to help.
