Bemsee continues to put a real focus behind policing class rules in 2010. Did you know we now have a Technical Team numbering around 20 people?... and through an on-going training programme we continue to introduce and welcome new blood into the Technical ranks of the Club. Detailed Technical seminars are held in February for the whole team and our senior officials sit the FIM technical seminars and exams. Under the eye of our Chief Officer other experienced members of the team are regularly given the opportunity to manage a meeting as acting-Chief, all part of developing their skills and experience for the future. For 2010 the team has exclusive use of what is now the Clubs own Dyno facility, this will be on-site at every meeting to provide a consistent tool to manage the post-race analysis of machines. Private runs are also available to Club Members for £25 a session, just pop along to see the Dyno team to arrange over a weekend.
The Club ensures the Technical team liaises with both the Race Office and the Clerk of the Course and Deputies over race weekends in order to manage the processes involved in policing our series in a fair manner. The Club views this as most important considering the commitment and expense involved for all our Members in pursuing the sport. If you are interested in learning more about how you can get involved with Technical Inspection please make contact with our Chief Technical Official, John Wilson either at a meeting or email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
